Muay Thai fight camp in Bangkok: train with ONE Lumpinee fighters

By N&P Muaythai Camp, Rama 2, Bangkok ·

Short answer: N&P Muaythai Camp in Rama 2, Bangkok, trains fighters as well as beginners. You live on site, train twice a day Monday–Saturday and choose fighter-level training: sparring, clinch work, conditioning and pad rounds alongside the camp's own fighters, who compete on ONE Lumpinee. The camp can help find you a fight. It costs the same as Stay & Train: 7,000 THB per week or 25,000 THB for 30 days. You do not need a fight record, but you need solid basics.

Who fighter training is for

Fighter training is for people who already know the basics and want to train the way Thai fighters do: experienced amateurs, people preparing for their first fight, and fighters from abroad who want a block of hard training in Thailand.

You do not need a fight record. You do need a solid base: a good stance, clean basic strikes and the fitness to handle two hard sessions a day. If you are not sure you are ready, start at beginner level and move up when your trainer agrees. Read our beginner's guide.

Train alongside ONE Lumpinee fighters

N&P is a working fight camp. Fighters from our camp compete on ONE Lumpinee, the weekly ONE Championship Muay Thai event at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, including:

On fighter level you train in the same sessions as them, with the same trainers. That is the main difference between a fight camp and a fitness gym: the pace and standard are set by people who fight for a living.

What fighter training includes

  • Pad rounds with trainers, at fight pace.
  • Sparring, matched to your level and weight.
  • Clinch work, the part of Muay Thai most foreigners lack and Thai fighters win with.
  • Conditioning and running to build fight fitness.
  • Bag work and technique, with trainers correcting details round by round.

Tell your trainer your goals on day one, and if you have a fight coming up, its date and weight.

Can the camp find me a fight?

Yes. The camp can help arrange a fight for you. Whether and when depends on your level, your weight and what is available while you are here, so tell staff when you book if you want to fight and how long you are staying.

Your trainers will want to see you train before putting you in a fight, so give yourself enough time at camp.
